The museum is located in the pastorate of Viru-Nigula pastor’s mansion. The exposition introduces the life and heritage of a linguist and man of letters Otto Wilhelm Masing, who worked as the pastor of Viru-Nigula. In addition objects related to the history of the church and pastor’s manor of Saint Nicholas, the educational and cultural life of the parish of Viru-Nigula, local everyday life etc are exposed at the museum.
