Animal species from Australia to Alaska are represented at Tallinn Zoo. The collection of goats and mountain sheep is one of the largest in the world. One can visit the Elephant House, the Tropical House and the Eagle Mountain. Excellent living conditions have been created for water birds. The new exposition of Continental Asia introduces big mammals of steppes and semi-deserts. Tallinn Zoo takes part in the restoration of the natural colonies of European mink. Children’s Zoo, where the children can study animals more closely, is open in the summer period.
