The Jaan Poska Museum opened its doors on January 24, 2008, to celebrate Jaan Poska’s day of birth with its first exposition. The Jaan Poska Memorial Foundation was established on the initiative of citizens, who were concerned about the preservation of Estonian culture and history in 2001, with the aim to save the home of Jaan Poska (1866–1920), our renowned statesman, from destruction.
