During two centuries the Botanical Garden has maintained its landscape diversity, historical planning and monumental trees. Development of plant collections was done by professors Ledebour, Bunge, Kuznetsov, Lippmaa, etc. In well designed gardens and modern green houses there are exposed plant species from tropical rain forest up to tundra The Palm House is the biggest and the collecton of palms is unique in the Baltics. Many park sculptures by famous Estonian artists are exposed. Buildings of classical style can be enjoyed arround the pond. Botanical Garden is a beautiful and tranquil oasis for learning plants and relaxing.
