It is the birthplace of one of the most well known literature classics Anton Hansen Tammsaare. The museum itself is arranged in a dwelling house, barn building, cattle-shed and crofters` buildings. These buildings hold expositions from the time of "Tõde ja Õigus" (a novel by A. H. Tammsaare) and introduce visitors the lifestyle of rural people in the period of 1870–1930. Walking paths lead from the museum to Kõrvemaa wildlife.
