In 1932–1940 the Estonian writer Anton Hansen Tammsaare (1878–1940) lived on the second floor of the house that was first built as a summer cottage and later rebuilt into apartments. 5 rooms (writing room, dining room, living room, bedroom, servant’s room) and the kitchen are exposed in their initial form. In the exposition rooms one can get acquainted with the life and creative heritage of the writer.
