Archive Library collects, keeps and makes available as comprehensive collection of books, periodicals and manuscripts on Saaremaa as possible. Mostly the production of print shops and publishing houses having operated and still operating in Saaremaa, whole works having published on the county and the inhabitants of Saaremaa and works containing information on the latter, the writings by authors either working in Saaremaa or being of local origin are collected.
