The Tabivere  Rural Municipality Museum is located in Tabivere borough in a house built in 1858 as a horse post station. The aim of the museum is to perpetuate, preserve and introduce the history of the local area. The exhibits of the museum should also interest visitors from other regions since they reflect the birth of the Republic of Estonia, the War of Independence, World War II, the history of school education, fire fighting, sport life and collective farm life of the occupation time.
